Kellen and Curious George

Hi, my name is Kellen, and I am a Curious George addict.
Seriously, though, it has gotten silly.
Kellen loves--and I mean loves--Curious George. He gets all into every episode, which he has seen multiple times.
Here he is now, trying to practically ingest the little monkey.
I have to move him back from the TV.
It is cute, though, this love of all things George.
It means that he is beginning to understand more complex concepts.
He is adorable...
So is his big brother though, who didn't want to take the bus home yesterday when our car was frozen (literally). Luckily, a nice woman from his school brought him home!
We decided not to make a big deal out of the Whole Bus Strike with Aidan.
I mean he really was scared of being on the bus in the dark.
So.
Thank goodness for nice children-oriented teachers who care!

I had my interview today for the part-time job...I have another interview at 3 p.m. It should be interesting. At the very least, I got to connect with my old friend from grad school, who, it turns out, teaches there!
Wow!
So we got to have coffee and catch up--and I got a chance to hear about his wife, whom I really really liked. I really liked him, too, so it was a treat.
It's sort of funny how one falls out of touch with people...

So now I am preparing for the phone interview part (for the full time job) of this whole shebang.
