Christmas Tree Hugging

Aidan came up with that title...He is looking over my shoulder...
We just cleaned out the hamsters' cage and now are being silly in the kitchen. He is dancing to the music, and I am trying to write this blog!
This picture was taken last night and is another attempt at my new lighting skills...
Not such a success.
But better than the other tree pictures.
Today was basically blessedly uneventful...
I got into a traffic jam trying to get Aidan; I got to talk with Lindamarie (thank you Linda); I got to do some grocery shopping; and Kellen got so crabby because he wouldn't keep his mittens on! We also managed to LOSE a blanket and a mitten en route. I think we lost the blanket in Goodwill, where I bought a style-y suit jacket (Liz Claiborne) for the job interview. It's all fall colors and plaid and wool...Nice...
I left all my work clothes in Laconia with Brian's parents.

Kellen has been waking up at 5.
This makes for interesting afternoons...
Lots of crabbiness.
Poor Brian has been getting up...don't know what to do...but I can't get sleep deprived again after what happened in the summer...Just say No to long-term sleep deprivation!

Finally, the season of lights has been nice but is going too fast. It's already Dec. 6! Cambridge looks nice...There are these nice dancer figures in lights hanging over the streets, and the trees look festive. I am glad that the trees aren't hung with lights "umbrella" style where they are carelessly draped but rather are really dressed nicely. The "umbrella" look just isn't as fun and festive.
May your season be filled with light--of all kinds.
