Kel's language delay

Kellen is doing great in all areas except language.
He still babbles and uses his own words for mostly everything though he does have some words...which he uses regularly. Like Dada and Aidan.
But he hasn't figured out that he can TALK for purposes and that words have power.
Not yet.
So.
I have not been concerned about this until now...
I am wondering--at what point do we see a speech person?
My brilliant friend Elaine didn't talk until she was 3, so that made me feel better.
Apparently, she didn't have much to say until 3.
And from then on, she's done better than fine. Her vocab is one of the best of my friends!
I am trying to relax ... just enjoy ... but this tiny part of me wonders...
When is he going to talk?
