In Other Weirdnesses

It has been hard to leave the Saranac Review, where I did so much work...
Good work...
But I know that the magazine will do well under its new tutelage.

This past year was odd in that I served as advisor for the student pub and as Editor for the national lit mag...
Nice...
but hectic.

The strangest thing that happened was the poem that we received--written in the voice of Ted Bundy--and written under an alias. I turned it over to University and State Police...but I have been thinking a lot about the poem because as much as I first didn't like it (because of my situation with being stalked), the poem was Not Half Bad as far as poems go.
It was written in the voice of Ted Bundy...
But it was structurally actually quite strong in terms of sense of sound and form. It was almost a crown of sonnets (which is hard to do!)
If the poem was written by the stalker, perhaps this person will Become A Poet instead.

Otherwise, issue #3 is en route to us via the publishers...
