Sunny Days

I love that Sesame Street song about Sunny Days...
Today was definitely one. 80. Sunny. Good.
Things are a little overwhelming...
but my Shaman had good things to say, which is always encouraging.
We talked about the Stalking Situation and also about transitioning to our new lives...etc...
I feel lucky because I love to move around and my husband has a job that allows that, encourages that...I wonder how long we will be in Beantown. A year? Six months? Longer?
Kellen has a cold again because we got to play with Baby Eamon this weekend, and Baby Eamon was sick.
So now Kel is too.
Sigh.
It will pass soon.
We are all on the South Beach Diet still and losing weight...I really like this diet and didn't know that dieting could be A) Fun and B) Not so Bad and C) Tasty.
Cool.
B. and I have dropped 10 pounds each, which is welcome. I'm only 10 pounds out from pre-pregnancy weight.
Also am suffering from poison ivy situation...As B. says, I get it from looking at pictures of the stuff.

My shaman is awesome. Truly. She is just the most centered, smart, resourceful, cool, creative people that I know.
She built a sculpture out of extra rawhide--from the drums that she makes. And everyone at her artist studio visit was Really Into the sculpture, so she got to be celebrated, which makes me happy.
She is making us a drum...but as she says she is doing other things right now, but when the timing is right, she will make it. Like mid summer. Or fall.
And that feels good.
Even over the phone today, doing a session with her, I just felt cared for and pure love.
She is so amazing!
She also makes her own instruments and basically makes me believe in the power of creativity: how inspiring and awesome it is (literally awesome)...
So today was good mostly...

Except the hair dresser messed up my hair and was out of the powerful bleach. So I have to go back for another round. Meanwhile I look, well...interesting...not quite the look I was going for.

After some hair heartbreak, I realized...it's just hair. Lighten up. It will be fixed soon enough, and in the meantime, well...What can I say?
