A Foot of Snow: Sparkling Dreams

So it happened.
That March phenomenon known as false spring.
I expected it, so I was not bummed.
But Brian was as close to freaking out as he gets.
It was LOL funny.
He says it is from growing up in Virginia.

I so want to leave NE for a while.
To escape the cold and be in sun!
Here is to Italy in May!
Annie: I am sad about losing the dream of Hawaii...but it's such a long trip with a babe in tow...

But Shawn is going to teach me to surf this summer.
Right Donna?
LOL. Shawn said he'd show me some pointers in Cali.

Which is enough.

See...it is snowing right now, and I am musing about warmth and sun. But I am not all that bummed about the snow. A foot is a foot is a foot, and it will melt soon.
The only problem is that I will get my snow-melting mold headache again, and that rots.

Also: David is moving in with us...Welcome David...I love having this house be a kind of place of respite and welcome and inspiration for other creative souls...especially when they are in crisis though I don't even know what the crisis is...just that a friend needs a place to stay. It feels really good not to have to know or pry. Just to welcome him here.

Say some snow prayers, quiet, hush: Snow is like a prayer, falling from the sky. Quiet over all our dreams...but not a muffling quiet, a sparkling kind of hopeful icing.
