The Departed

Was totally intense!
We saw it last night. The acting was superb...
What a DARK film though...It seemed fitting for Boston, where I was born...(just outside in a suburb)...
I spent a lot of time in Boston during that time...70s...
And it was a gritty city.
And it still is.
It needs some more LIGHT.
Maybe my new novel, which is set there, will bring some light in.
The Departed was Anti-light...
But totally gripping and Shakesperian.
I can see why it got best picture though what does that say about our society, that we are falling into the Dark?
