More joys

More joys to report from Thanksgiving holiday:

1) Kellen had birthday number one family celebration. Rachel made a potato and cheese cake...So adorable and no sugar. Kellen LOVED the whole thing: magical candle, and he thought the cake rocked.

2) Homemade cranberry sauce.

3) An excuse to make cookies.

4) Megan stroking Kellen's hair and just hanging with Kellen.

5) All the cousins being joyful kids.

6) And this new skateboard to get used to and explore and enjoy...Hmm...It's sort of exciting.

7) And finally, Rest in Peace my wonderful Gravity skateboard, which was like a friend...I love it and am going to miss it awfully...It was so stable and easy to learn on (perfect for beginning) and also Very Beautiful and Groovy and Vintage Feeling...Old school...classic and gorgeous picture of surf on the inside...and all made of Birch...I am so grateful for the learning, the joy, the love of it...

And now I'm planning on how to make a tribute of the board: maybe I can make it into a lamp. Or some other artful thing...Or just hang it in the kitchen, just because.
