Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
I hope all your Halloweens were fun.
We had a great one this year with Aidan dressing up like a character in his favorite book, Redwall.
We also had a party with friends down the road and then we all trick or treated together--3 families going for a long hike along dark neighborhood roads.
It was fun and not at all spooky since there were so many of us.
Kellen did well though we didn't dress him up.
He fussed for a while after dinner and then fell asleep in the stroller. Though it rained, we were able to put blankets over the stroller, and he stayed dry.
Afterward, we came home and finished our trick or treat session with the immediate neighbors. It was nice, seeing them, chatting about neighborhood isses.
Speaking of which: We DID go to our neighbors who are usually kind of judgmental, and they were incredibly nice.
It made me think that maybe you just have to BE somewhere for a while before people get to know you.
Now we are unwinding.
Everyone is having a hard time with the time change.
And Kellen, well...Kellen is still staying up all night.
Literally.
I've just accepted that I won't sleep for Some Time or that I will have to catch cat naps on the sly...
Happy Halloween everyone!
