An Inconvenient Truth

Well, I saw the Gore movie last night.
The kiddies had a babysitter...
A very good one at that.
Brian and I held hands although he was Transfixed to a scary point.
Gore came on--larger than life--and gave the Powerpoint Presentation of a lifetime.
I never thought I'd be That into a powerpoint.

When you watch the movie, though, there is no denying that global warming IS happening.
The research is pretty much affirmed. Nine hundred and thirty two peer reviewed articles say that global warming IS happening, and zero articles refute this point.
Still, the GOP says that the warming trend is Just a Theory.
And who calls who conspiracy theorist?

Most amazing, however, are the pictures of the glaciers that are melting. Anyone who says that global warming is a lark can't really undo the power of those pictures.
There--in techno color--are the pictures of the glaciers crashing and melting...
And even the satellite photos from space show how much melting is occurring daily.
Scientists are alarmed. Viewers of this movie are alarmed. But the GOP, well, seems that they are getting ready for Revelations, I suppose.
But seriously...
Anyone who cares about the future of our country and world HAS to be outraged, alarmed, and called to action by seeing these images.
