A Mumma Called Bubba
Reading back over the posts, I DID so want to include some of the Other News around here. Several things are happening on the K front:
1) He is the cutest being in the world after A. of course.
2) He has learned to give high fives, wave hello, and give kisses and hugs.
3) He is very hug and kisses stingy though. Only does it when he wants to--like once a month now.
4) He has learned to say "bubba" for mumma.
He will howl in his crib when he wakes up at night, "bubba, bubba, bubba." It is THE cutest thing, hearing him say "bubba" because he says it all the time when he wants me to pick him up.
5) He is sitting completely unaided.
6) He loves to roll around to get from Point A to Point B.
7) He is trying so desperately to crawl, but can't get himself up on all fours yet.
8) He can swing himself by grabbing the bars on his baby swing. He gets himself going REALLY fast.
9) He can twirl around in his exer-saucer at an Alarming Rate.
10) He can eat Arrowroot cookies and graham crackers.
The other week we met an 11-mos old baby who was crawling up a storm. In a few short months, that will be K...tooling all around the house.
The only feeling I have about that right now is that we are not ready; I need to get new flooring in one room, and the rest--well--suffice it to say that we need to hire our house cleaner daily when that happens.
Which means I'll be vacuuming daily again.
Which means I'll have to be a little better in the Time Management department.
Alas...
For now, though, we're just reveling in Little Sweetie Energy.
