The Bus Stops Here
The Bus Stops Here.
At my house, that is.
Riding the bus for the first time today, I was surprised by how small a ridership there was.
Three people rode the bus home today, out from the city to my rural area.
The bus driver informed me that if I called ahead, the driver would come to my door--like a taxi.
Whoa!
So now I have my very own bus taxi.
I am not sure whether to think that A) the bus driver is just a nice guy or B) they are so desperate for ridership they'll come to your door. I think the actual reality is a combo of the two.
I decided to start taking the bus to try to save on gas, be more environmental, and allow Brian to have a car for being home with the boys.
For now, you can imagine me, skateboard under arm, boarding a bus: Most people go forward into SUVs and Mercedes.
Me: My transport is back to high school, bus and all.
